Aliened to humanity by the sting of disability.
Believed to be emanating from a galaxy in space though clothed in flesh.
Walkin in a midst of a multitude that always forgets to remember your existence but never forgets to remind you that you don’t belong.
We are but a secondary thought on planet earth.
An outbreak amplifying empathetic exclusion.
A pandemic reinforcing that we are far from a revolution.
Those with limitations in mobility passed over as the world runs to a hiding.
No one to whisper precautionary measures to those hard of hearing.
The blind’s guiding object poisoned as it is shouted aloud for the elbow to be a covering when sneezing.
Squeezed in to a back corner with loneliness the only feeling.
Take note of us we continue preaching.
We will not stop till there is a rude awakening
Even more now during this alarming pandemic.
May the dispensing of information be reasonably accommodative, intersecting us at a point of comprehension.
May support be unmasked as our cry for consideration resounds in the ears of the masses.
So that we too may be sheltered from the global epidemic.
Taking off the garment of alienation we would be apparelled with inclusion.
